IONIZED LIVING WATER (KANGEN - JAPAN)

Ionized water, also called negative water - is water that has been exposed to an electrical current that separates the charged particles positively from the charged ones. During ionization, the positively charged ions are drawn to the negative electrode. Negatively charged ions are attracted to the positive electrode. Positive charged ions such as calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium increase pH, thus resulting in alkaline water. Negatively charged ions, including phosphorus, chlorine and sulfur lower the pH and produce acidic water. Both types of water are beneficial when used in a specific way.

The three main properties of ionized water (Kangen):

  1. pH (alkalinity / acidity degree): from 11,5 to 2,5 pH;
  2. High Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP);
  3. Micro-molecular structure.
